Animal Aid’s Christmas Fundraiser is being held at Christopher’s (2857 E Oakland Park Blvd) on December 12 from 8 to 10 p.m. A $20 donation includes a cocktail, appetizers, music and dancing. There will also be a raffle and silent auction.

PetSet’s Island Holiday Party
Break out your Hawaiian shirts! PetSet’s Island Holiay Party to benefit the Humane Society of Broward County is this Thursday, December 4, at Bimini Boatyard Bar & Grill on S.E. 17th Street in Fort Lauderdale. Guests will enjoy 2 complimentary cocktails, tasty hor d’oeuvres and a live reggae band. Tickets for PetSet members are $25 and guest tickets are $35 - or you can just pay $45 to join PetSet and attend. Also, if you bring something on the Humane Society’s holiday wish list, you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a great prize. Pet Pictures with Santa
You can have your pet’s picture taken with Santa at the PetSmart in Plantation every weekend in December (before Chrismas) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You will receive one 4 x 6 photo for $9.95.
